5K Run
We want to welcome you to the 4th Annual Sugar Rush 5K!
The Sugar Rush will kick off the day-long activities associated with the 2022 SugarFest located at the City Park in Arab, Alabama.
The course is challenging because it is NOT flat but neither is it difficult. The race will begin at the Arab City Park Pool at 7:30 am, Proceed south on City Park Drive, Left onto Spring Road at which time it will loop through Smalley Estates returning to the City Park.
Registration: Online Registration has closed. Any Arab City Schools student who wishes to participate may do so at a discounted rate of $20.00 by registering through the school. Registration forms and information will be available in each school office during the first 3 weeks of school. Forms should be returned to a school office by August 30th to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Race Packets for student participants will be sent home with the student from school on Friday, September 3.
Entry Fee: $25.00 (Students $20.00)
Race Start Time: 7:30 A.M. Saturday, August 31st at Arab City Park near the pavilion across from the pool.
Race Day Registration: Available from 6:30-7:00 AM near the starting line. T-shirts will not be guaranteed on race day.
Packet Pickup: Race Packets may be picked up at the New Pavilion at the Arab City Park Friday, September 2 from 3:30-5:30. The new pavilion is across the street from the tennis courts.
Awards: Age group winners and overall winners will receive a medal.
